Dr. Joos

Chief Medical Officer / Veterinarian

Growing up in upstate New York, Dr. Joos knew she wanted to be a vet from a young age and loved accompanying her mom when she took their Golden Retriever to the vet. After graduation from Cornell University, where she completed both her veterinary and undergraduate degrees, Dr. Joos worked in Pittsburgh before moving to the Pioneer Valley. She practiced in western MA for 5 years before taking the plunge and purchasing her own practice in 2020.

Dr. Joos shares her family with her husband, two young children, and their furry family member, Maxie (golden retriever), Rizzo (Boston Terrier), and two medium-haired cats, Luca and Percy. In her free time, she loves cooking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Codd

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Codd grew up in Western Massachusetts and attended school in Ireland at the University College Dublin. With her childhood dream of being a vet, she has been practicing as a veterinarian for the last 10 years. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is being able to help her patients feel their best. Dr. Codd enjoys surgery details, has a soft spot for elderly patients, and is developing plans to help control their aches and pains as they age.  When she is not working, Dr. Codd enjoys weight lifting, walking my dogs in the woods (Tayto, Banshee, Ralph, and Bindi), reading, and spending time with her husband.
